Dale

Dale began his music career playing violin aged 9 but switched to piano a year later. Dale graduated from the University of Abertay in 2013 with a BA (Hons) in Music Performance, specialising in classical music, and graduated from the University of Chichester in 2021 with a MFA Music Composition for Film, Television, and Video Games. Though classically trained, he plays many genres of music including folk, jazz, and pop/rock. Aside from teaching, he travels the country playing piano at over 90 weddings and corporate events a year and occasionally does session work in recording studios. Along with passions for teaching and performing Dale is passionate about music technology and recording. Dale has taught piano for over 10 years and also teaches at Bright Path Piano in Livingston and St.Leonard’s School in St.Andrews. Dale is a member of the PVG scheme.

Stefan

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Stefan studied music at King’s College London (2019) and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (2021) A dedicated educator, Stefan has taught piano and flute for over five years, balancing his teaching with an active performing career. Internationally, he has appeared on the Middle Eastern and European tours of The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber. In the UK, he has performed with leading companies including Birmingham Royal Ballet, Northern Ballet, Opera North, London Film Music Orchestra, and Scottish Festival Orchestra. He has also served as deputy on the recent UK tours of Miss Saigon and Mary Poppins.

Denise

Denise Wong started playing piano at the age of eight. Graduated from the HKIED for Certificate in secondary education, major in music, minor in history. Later she was awarded a full fees scholarship for the Edinburgh Napier University bachelor in Music (Hons). Denise studied with Mr. Nicholas Ashton, she gained Licentiate in solo piano by Trinity College London with Distinction. She also awarded John Younger Medal for Piano Duet organised by Edinburgh Music Festival next year. She performed at St Giles’ Cathedral and held a piano recital at the Scottish Parish Church. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University, Wong explored the production of concerts and ballet accompanying and decided to devoted to Music Education in Hong Kong. She teaches piano solo, piano duets, ensemble, aural training and theory. Throughout 15 years of teaching, students achievements included: ATCL solo piano with Distinction; ABRSM Grade 2-8 piano with Distinction/ Merit and HKSMSA Grade 6 piano Champion. In July 2023, she relocates to Scotland with her family and continues to be a professional piano teacher. Based in Glasgow and loves to explore the Glen and Loch. Denise is a member of the PVG scheme.
